We run a number of events each year specifically aimed at children and their families. These will be advertised here and on our church Facebook page.
God Squad
The Lent course for young people in our 'God Squad' starts on 25th February 2023 and is led by Rev Louise. Please contact her for more information.
Kids for Christ
Crofton Messy Church started up in the autumn of 2014 and since Covid, has been replaced by Kids for Christ, a creative session taking place in The Lady Chapel during the main All Age service on the second Sunday in the month. If you haven’t tried it, then please come along and introduce yourself.
There is a biblical theme that we explore through creative activities. So if you like sitting and chatting while making something, or building a structure out of boxes and junk items; perhaps playing Giant Jenga or listening to everyday sounds and trying to identify them, these are all examples of what goes on, and you’ll find something to enjoy.
Details of Kids for Christ can be obtained from Rev Louise, and Viv Drayton is often helping out with Lesley Sellens.
Alternatively, you can find out more about how Crofton engages with toddlers, children and young people by meeting up on a Thursday morning at the Working Men's Club on Slack Lane (during term time). Bring your toddlers and eat toast!
